INDICATIONS
Restylane® Kysse is indicated for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and the correction of upper perioral rhytids in patients over the age of 21.
JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC injectable gel is indicated for injection into the lips and perioral area for lip augmentation in adults over the age of 21.
ADVERSE EVENTS
The most commonly reported side effects for JUVÉDERM® injectable gels were redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, discoloration, and itching

What to expect
Will it hurt?
In short, yes it most likely will. We do use a topical numbing cream prior to your injections. It will still be a bit painful though. Expect some pinpoint bleeding at the injection points. Bruising may also occur at injection site.
How long will the swelling last?
Swelling of the lips may last for 24-72hrs post treatment. Ice packs may be used topically on the lips to reduce swelling. After the swelling has decreased your lips should remain plump for about 3-4 months after injection.
